Dawn SimeDawn Sime holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a Masters in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior. She has 18-plus years of vast experience in personnel development and human resource management. An experienced trainer and instructor, Dawn is an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University, School of Business, Department of Organizational Leadership and Professional Studies. She also teaches at Franklin Pierce University and Merrimack College, North Andover, MA.

Dawn is a Director and Board Member of the New Hampshire Women’s Leadership Institute and a Director and faculty member of the Women’s Global Education Institute. She is also a member of the steering committee and a speaker for the 2010 Women’s Leadership Summit.

Skills Leaders Need: Mastering Self-Management: 22, Oct 21, and Dec 9

Self-management is taking responsibility for yourself and holding yourself accountable for that which you have control. How you conduct yourself is influenced by your emotional intelligence; the degree to which you regulate your emotions and their impact on others. How aware are you of what triggers your own emotions? How well can you read other people’s emotions and act accordingly? How can you control your emotions when dealing with difficult situations? How do you use your emotional intelligence to strengthen relationships?

This workshop is for those who want to be effective leaders by learning the mastery of self-management techniques. At the end of the workshop you will be able to identify and apply key emotional intelligence practices in your personal and professional life.

The workshop will be very interactive, informative and fun. You will leave motivated to take ACTION!
