NEW HAMPSHIRE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

THE INSTITUTE

The NHWLI is a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporate vehicle established for the development and delivery of educational programs for women.

MISSION

The mission of the NHWLI is to educate women in the areas of Leadership, Vision and Values. The NHWLI offers a variety of cutting edge programs, seminars and workshops aimed at women throughout New England. Programs, seminars, and workshops provides insights and skills into the changing nature of work in the twenty-first century. Highly skilled and proven faculty are recruited to deliver NHWLI offerings.

GOVERNANCE

Governance of NHWLI will be carried out by Trustees, all of whom are professional women in their own right. The Institute’s Bylaws set out its governance structure and terms. The president of the Institute is Gemma Dreher; the CEO is Annabel Beerel, and the Treasurer is Elizabeth Faucher. Trustee terms of appointment are set out in the Bylaws.

FLAGSHIP EVENT

The flagship event of the NHWLI is the annual NH Women’s Leadership Summit.

The Summit has its own program committee, speakers and seminar providers as well as its own independent budget.

OTHER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

The NHWLI will offer executive education opportunities to professional women identified as high potential leaders in targeted organizations. High potential leaders will be offered a customized one year training program that will groom them for taking the next steps in their career. The first cohort will begin in April 2010. Income generated from executive education will support the NHWLI.
